For this beautiful contemporary kitchen remodel project we used a refrigerator and freezer column side by side, moved them to the back wall, and applied square door panels onto the fronts. We then added a narrow pantry that fit into the old doorway and used the same style doors hiding pantry items until needed. This made the appliances invisible while creating a visual focal point. We also moved the cooktop to the other side so that the wall in the hallway could be reduced. The hood moved with it of course so we hid that by connecting it to a ceiling panel and then a cabinet of the same color that reaches down to the countertop. This cabinet has bi-fold/retractable doors and houses their coffee machine and much more.
