Kitchen

The developer who built this house wanted a kitchen that was modern but also fit with the traditional style of the house. We used a combination of plain inset door styles.  We used one door style that had a narrow 1 ¼” frame in which we put clear glass inserts. We were able to do this by using new technology, air hinges by Salice. These hinges are invisible as opposed to the large European style hinges that used to be our only option.  These doors are very sophisticated with a clean tailored look. The base cabinets and the tall cabinets/refrigerator panels have doors that are simple and flat. These doors are considered to be very contemporary however, by setting them into a 1 1/2” frame and they have a more traditional appeal. The Lacanche range adds an indelible impression and creates a magnificent focal point.  The hood was designed to give a French Provencal look, making this range and hood set less formal.
