The original master bathroom was dark and dated, featuring a bulky jetted tub, two cramped shower stalls, and a large vanity with minimal functional storage. However, the layout maintained a good balance of symmetry and functionality. Our redesign aimed to brighten the space and enhance its practicality without sacrificing style.
To bring in more light, we added seeded glass windows and larger glass doors to the shower stalls, transforming the previously confined areas into open, bright spaces. The showers now feature elegant Calcutta wall tiles and herringbone-patterned floor tiles, keeping the space light and airy.
We replaced the heavy, built-in jetted tub with a sleek, freestanding tub, which is framed by wainscoting and mirrors for a touch of sophistication. The vanity area is flanked by two tall cabinets that provide essential storage, while the decorative mullion details add a stylish touch.
