While updating her home to age-in-place, our client came to us with the need for an ADA compliant bathroom and an unwillingness to compromise in style.  What was once a chopped up closet, hallway, bathroom and toilet room, now blends as one extension from the bedroom, leaving as few turns and obstacles as possible.  By moving the toilet room from the far back corner of the bathroom to directly off the bedroom, navigation has been reduced.  We kept an open “wet room” feel for the bathroom, creating an open entry shower that can be accessed by the tub.  Alternatively, the glass panel can be hinged open, revealing a doubly accessible shower.  High style and high quality stand out in this bathroom with grain-matched rift white oak vanity and matching floor-to-ceiling mirror, a mixture of gloss and matte picket tiles, wall-mounted faucetry, and the luxury of electrified drawers.
