Colorful & Classic Kitchen

This Alexandria, VA kitchen needed a major update when homeowners called on the design team to reimagine the space. The existing kitchen included details that worked well for the homeowners, including the layout of the kitchen, the large window above the sink, and the sunroom off the kitchen which allows light to flood into space. It was a matter of updating and improving upon these features to serve the space better.
When it came time to select kitchen materials, we opted for a timeless blue, with accents of black and brass metals. The CornuFe 110 range was the perfect addition as a show stopper piece along the cooking wall. The blue/black finish of the range and classic brass accents meld beautifully with the home’s classic aesthetics.
The range hood includes a black metal apron paired with a metal pot rack and a shelf below. The simple square cement tile backsplash brings your eye up, accentuating the tall ceilings, in a clean pattern and finish.
The overall outcome is a colorful yet complete timeless design kitchen.
