Contemporary Kitchen Remodel in Bethesda, MD

This bright contemporary kitchen was once dark and dated with a choppy layout. By tearing down the wall between the kitchen and the living room we were able to create a streamlined layout with a large center island. The high gloss white cabinetry features channels for opening doors and drawers rather than the traditional cabinet hardware. The cooktop sits flush with the countertop with control knobs integrated into the cabinetry. Tall cabinets reveal an appliance garage in the corner and an abundance of pantry storage flanking the ovens. The large island is split by a structural post. A seating area is on one end with a 3-1/4” thick waterfall countertop and cabinet storage on the opposite end.
