Master Bath Design by Jennifer Gilmer & Meghan Browne

The master bathroom was dark and dated with a large jetted tub, two very confined showers, and a large vanity with very little usable storage. Otherwise, the bathroom was laid out well functionally and maintained a nice balance of symmetry within the room.

By adding seeded glass windows and larger glass doors to the two showers stalls, the light immediately poured into the once confined, dark showers. Beautifully patterned Calcutta wall tile and herringbone floor tile in the shower kept these rooms airy and bright. The built-in jetted tub was a heavy structure weighing down the room. It was replaced by an elegant freestanding tub and surrounded in wains paneling and mirrors.
The vanity is flanked by two tall cabinets providing much-needed storage while adding a decorative mullion design detail.
