Our homeowners live right in the heart of Middleburg, VA and instead of leaving their prime location, they decided to build an addition to get the much needed extra space. The new kitchen is located partially in the new space and partially in the existing space. This provided a unique set of design challenges. A stand-alone range from AGA was installed under a new tiled in the hood. This provided a much-needed design element and a place to embrace their love for cooking. Inset cabinets provide a character appropriate look for the existing house and town. Soapstone countertops were installed which take on a beautiful life of their own. This new kitchen has the feel of one that has been there since the house was originally built.
