Sometimes client’s know exactly what design style they want with their kitchen remodel, and sometimes they need a little extra help in making those decisions. We’re here for you every step of the way, from selecting your color palette, choosing counter surfaces, determining cabinetry, handpicking fixtures, selecting appliances, and helping you decide upon accent furniture that will suit your design tastes and lifestyle needs. That’s why we are the best kitchen remodeling experts in Delaware.
Here are some popular kitchen design styles from our recent projects that may help get you excited about your kitchen remodel.
Contemporary Kitchens
A contemporary kitchen design has straight and horizontal lines with minimalist elements and is uniquely simplistic in design.
Traditional Kitchens
A traditional kitchen design is more decorative with moldings, raised panels, dark and light wood contrasts, and is slightly more formal yet always inviting. Traditional styles include rustic, country, and coastal kitchen designs.
Transitional Kitchens
A transitional kitchen design combines both contemporary and traditional design styles. This popular style pulls in the minimalism of modern design with decorative elements of traditional design, making for a nice balance of both.
Modern Kitchens
A modern kitchen design utilizes high quality and often exotic materials that are luxurious to both the eyes and touch, yet is similar to contemporary design with minimalist elements and adornments.
Vintage Kitchens
A vintage kitchen design is nostalgic and shabby-chic with an apron front farmhouse sink, copper accents, rubbed edge cabinets, and open shelving to display family heirlooms and collectables.

Initial Kitchen Remodel Consultation
New project clients will meet with one of our designers to review design ideas and we will prepare an initial layout as well as discuss the scope of the project and cost estimate. Then we present the client with our retainer agreement to get started on your Delaware kitchen remodeling project.
Taking Kitchen Remodel Measurements
The designer and/or design associate will meet the client at the project space to take detailed measurements of the kitchen being remodeled.
Retainer Agreement
Once the client signs the retainer agreement and pays the required project fee, the kitchen remodel project will be officially underway.
Drafting
Based on the actual measurements, our CAD specialists draft the space and the design process begins. These drawings will become more and more detailed as the meetings progress.
Design Meetings & Planning
Design meetings will take place with a designer and/or design associate in our showroom. This process may take 4-8 weeks depending on schedule availability and how quickly client design decisions are reached. After each meeting, drawings are revised to reflect the decisions about the kitchen remodel project.
Once the design is agreed upon, a visit to the project space with our recommended contractor or client general contractor is the next step in the kitchen renovation process. Cabinets are priced along with a complete job estimate based upon actual materials or within the project allowance. The client signs a contract for cabinetry and pays the 50% cabinet deposit. The client then receives a copy of the plans and the design associate processes the cabinet order. If a copy of the plans is needed prior to placing the cabinet order, an additional deposit will be required by the client.
Selecting Appliances and Other Materials
After the cabinet order has been processed, we will help the client select and confirm other materials, such as counter tops, tiles, lighting, hardware, plumbing supplies and flooring. We do not charge an additional fee or an hourly rate for this service, however we do expect the client to purchase them through us. We cannot be held responsible for any products that the client purchases outside of us, and it is essential that the client informs us of any purchases made that could affect the kitchen remodel design.
